Down The Drain

SABAH IS OURS FOREVER!
Few weeks ago, a group of dubious Malaysians were detained for burning Sabah's state flag. Surprisingly, they were merely detained for illegal assembly. Few days after, it was learned that those people were merely expressing their personal views and therefore not the majority hence warranted the detention for 'illegal assembly'.
It is disappointing when the authorities particularly those who are charged with security do not such such incident as a threat to national security. They insist that the draconian law,ISA is still relevant for what they claim as national security matters. Looking at the surface, the incident in Kudat? is indeed related to national security. The security of Sabah and Malaysia as a sovereign and independent nation. Therefore, those people who are possessed MyKad have clearly challenged the status of Malaysia as a sovereign country. Those are really unscrupulous people whose allegiance is suspect. Being Malaysians, they should be proud of Malaysia, the place which has sustained them all this while.
If the authorities are sincere, such certainly demands them to be incarcerated in Kamunting. These are the ones who have been undermining our nation's security for so long. Before others, they declare themselves to be Malaysians but in secret they rebelled against those who offered them shelter. The 1963 referendum should surpassed other documents since through the referendum , it is clear that people living in North Borneo have unanimously put their allegiance to Malaysia. There should be no dispute about the fact!
Those scums and scoundrels are only interested in Sabah because of our abundant natural resources period. They are just like pirates whose job is to plunder and leave everything in chaos and shambles. They are interested in Sabah because their own homeland is besieged with endless conflicts with scant resources. In the meantime, those scarce resources are actively been plundered by their so- called leaders. That is what they really are!
What is more saddening (read frightening) is not every Sabahan views such incident as a threat as they are those including local leaders see those ungrateful scoundrels as their ticket to remain in power. They need those people for their service of retaining those dubious leaders. Though those scoundrels belong to the same faith as me and some of those leaders but that is certainly not a reason to support or at least brushing their belligerent behaviour aside as being their personal stand.
A flag is a national identity and it must be accorded with respect. Burning it is just like waging a war against your own nation. This is punishable by death as it is an act of treason. A flag is not just a piece of coloured cloth, it is our identity, our dignity. At all times, a flag represents the citizens of a nation. Those scums dared to burn the flag because they are not Malaysians be it figuratively and literally.
Defending one's nation is just like safeguarding one's dignity. It is mandatory in Islam and the blogger strongly feel that the same goes to other religions. In Islam, we are taught to defend our country through all possible ways. It was narrated that during a holy war, Muslim soldiers took turn to hold their flag from one to another lest it fall to the ground. Such shows that respecting one's flag is just like surrendering one's dignity and allegiance to his country.
Those who burned the flag absolutely are not Malaysians for true Malaysians will not do the same. The authorities need to change their mind set. Oftentimes, Malaysians are being unfairly treated to the extent that we view such as oppression. Sadly, when, dubious Malaysians do the same for the sake of their true homeland they are only punished with token penalty. Those Hindraf activists for instance are almost immediately sent to Kamunting for championing their rights as Malaysians but those dubious Malaysians did what they had done for a foreign nation are only detained for illegal assembly!
This is not merely an issue of burning a flag but it goes beyond. Sabah is our land and there is no other place we can call home unlike those scums and their protectors who in reality belong to a different nation. This is not an issue of faith but it is a matter of dignity and national pride.

ILLEGAL
It is supposed to be his first ever official function as the new Prime Minister. But, as it turns out it is not to be as the ASEAN Plus summit is unceremoniously abandoned due to security reason arising from the 'red waves' in Pattaya, Thailand. For those who believe in superstitious, such is indeed a bad omen to the new PM since it is his first official visit cum function as the new PM. What is interesting to observe from the embarrassing moment is this - AN ILL GOTTEN POWER WILL NOT BE IN PEACE!
The present Thai government is not a democratically elected since they are there through the same manner as to what they are experiencing and has to face today. The actual or the democratically chosen government is that of Thaksin's supporters but they have to abandon the helm due to similar circumstances the present one is facing. Such should serve as a stern reminder for those who rather usurp the rightful government through immoral channel though it may be legal so to speak. What happened in Perak is just a replication to what is or has happened in Thailand. The only difference is how the People react to the usurpation. Here, being ones who trust and believe in values, the Perakians vent their anger for a mere few days and then everything goes to normal, at least on the surface. The 'immoral' then continue to act as if they deserve the authority. After all, to them the way the previous government crumbles is strictly in accordance of democratic principle.
Perhaps, the new PM is not as disappointed as he seems or claims to be but in reality he is afraid that Malaysians are still after him for his 'sin' in Perak and other doubtful behaviours. Indeed, though some claim that the just concluded by-elections maintain the status quo but since he just assumes responsibility few days before, the new PM should have enjoyed a more memorable victories. After all, all three seats previously are strongholds of his coalition. In 2004, his predecessor enjoys a landslide victory over the Opposition, therefore his elevation to the Chief Executive chair should be translated in his coalition winning all three seats.
Although, his mentor actively solicits for the People to support him , it is all in vain and clearly his mentor has indeed become s part of history. He is now only a fixture of the past. His mentor who previously accuses the fifth PM for being inconsistent has shown that he himself is inconsistent when he condones his protege's usurping action. Previously, he too condemns such ungentleman action! In a nutshell, an ill gotten wealth or power will continue to haunt those unscrupulous scoundrels and they are actually hanging on to the very last thread of their survival as Shakespeare succinctly puts:
Why Bother?
If only I have even the minute of the minute of their determination, I will be really proud. Nonetheless, people have their own unique way or ways to express themselves. Some like those in the stories I've enjoyed reading are what I refer to as the brave ones. They deliberately plunged themselves into trouble waters without remorse. They really walk the talk, for them being thrown and spend time in lock ups are their real reward - a kind of medal of honour worn proudly and shown to everyone friends and foes.
I, on the other hand is more calculative of the risk at least from the 'lock ups' point of view. But, at the same time I find it really distressing and difficult just to shut up and look the other way when I see and experience something wrong. I can't shy away from sharing my two cents on issues that affected Malaysians in general be it directly or otherwise. Some have the view that as long as they are not affected there and there directly therefore everything is and will be all right. To them, the political chaos is none of their business since they are not affected. They even questioned those the observers like myself - What will you gain from sharing your 'worthless' two cents? Will those you support appreciate you? Are you being paid for your support?
Well, to them , their opinion and to me its my two cents. As mentioned in my disclaimer, the entries in this blog are for sharing and putting those things in another perspective. Indeed, the political turmoil we are now experiencing be it small or as huge as the whale will certainly affect our lives in the long run. Just look at our judiciary, once the envy of everyone today it has become the laughing stock of the world, just like those in the third world though we boast of being a more advanced nation than those. So, what is the effect? The answer is glaring before us...T.R.U.S.T!
Once we lost trust, forever people will never trust us wholeheartedly before we lie to them. This is the fact of life. Sirul and Azilah are now awaiting the gallows pending their appeal. But, will everyone trust and believe the verdict after all the sensation and all the acts but transparency and integrity? Will Malaysians believe that they are really who they are since they always cover their faces during court appearances? Why the police allow such to occur other than to cover for them later, as a token for their sacrifice. Will it be them who really face the gallows later?
Once trust is broken , forever it will haunt us. Therefore, should we still say that those will not affect us directly? What about Kugan? What do we say if he is one of our relative, our next of kin, our brother or ourselves? Will we then say, never mind , it does not concern us? What about those leaders who have the audacity to advise the people to change their life styles in line with the economic crisis? While we have long since make significant changes to our lives, they so far have not been affected by the downturn? They continue their lavish and wasteful extravagance while most of us have to starve? Will we continue to say, it is all right, it does not concern us. It is their money therefore they are free to spend them. If that is our stand, then I suppose we should 'surrender' our brain to the hospitals for the medic students' study!

Filth
Siti Nurhaliza akhirnya temui Nik Aziz -MalaysiaKini
I was shocked when I read the above caption. Such is really a cheap stunt by the fading so-called diva. Who does she think she is?A parasite and cancerous cell, trying to regain her waning popularity by getting close to TGNA!
Once after returning from Makkah, she proudly don a full covering tudung but as days do by, her tudung becomes less and less a tudung and today again she proudly parades her scraggy hair for everyone to see. A person like her should not be look upon instead her species deserves none better than being looked down and frown upon as filth and scumbags.
For artistes like her, coming close to the learned may only means that they are nearing their way out and trying desperately to gain solace by coming and associating themselves to the learned. However, as long as they are at their peak, it is an abhorrence to be seen with the learned since it will only cause them severe headache and pain due to their unruly behaviour and shameful appearance. She is just there to regain as much as her former glory while at the same time ruining TGNA and Pas' image.
Truly, she and her species only deserve and belong to the other side who proudly promotes 'healthy' life style like this. She is only there to gain sympathy and at the same time trying to ruin the people who she claimed to adore. She is only there as a vector carrying disease!
Scumbags should only be with the Mat Rempits!
