The real Rachel Corrie- True Hero

Once again Malaysians show their true colour instead of focusing on the real issue they tend to be sidetracked by minor things which of course lead to glorifying themselves as if they have achieved something out of the ordinary. Of course being on the ship MV Mari Marmara and Rachel Corrie is itself a brave thing to do as not everyone has the courage and determination.

Nonetheless, glorifying those people by calling them the heroes really defeats the purpose of them being on the ship and most importantly their purpose is actually reaching Gaza and distribute the aids to those poor souls in Gaza. Have they achieved that objective? Far from it, in fact what happen to the aid? Worse if the aid are being distributed among those illegals in the illegal nation they call Israel. If those Malaysians manage to achieve their main and only objective then they truly deserve to be upheld as true heroes but in reality they don't even managed to reach the Gaza shore.

But then again, it is not their fault of not being able to reach their destination and thus disperse the aid, the real fault is on the Malaysians who are taking advantage of the volunteers by glorifying them as heroes and other glorified titles. Malaysians are easily deceived by minor things especially when it comes to glory and not any glory but glorifying themselves though it really does not mean anything. Building the highest structure, having state of the art facilities is only a few examples of how Malaysians love self-glorification.

Malaysians need to learn from the Green Peace or any other volunteer organisations from the West where they are committed to their objective of helping others in need and they strive at it ,trying their best to achieve their objective though it may cost their life as exemplified by the young but determined Rachel Corrie, an American student who died in her effort to stop the illegal Zionists from demolishing the Palestinians' home. That is the real hero if we are desperately looking for a role model.

Alas, she won't get the same treatment as those 12 survivors of MV Mari Marmara because she is not Malaysian! It is a sad occasion to see the whole nation glorifying those 12 volunteers as I am pretty sure they don't feel like heroes since they actually failed in their missions and millions of ringgit worth of aid for the poor souls in Gaza are now rotting or even worse enjoyed by the illegals in Israel.

The Malaysians conduct reflect their mentality of glamour-seeking attitude though they themselves realise that they have not really achieve what they have targeted for. Calling those survivors heroes is really an insult to those Palestinians and those who have departed because of the Israelis' inhumane actions. It is a shameful act and indeed we need to be ashamed of ourselves as out there many have lost their lives in pursuing the same objective as those 12 survivors. The differences are they have lost their lives and many have achieved their objective though they have to pay costly with their precious lives!

Alahai judi halal

Sanggup bersubahat gara - gara politik hingga lupa hukum!

Sedih dan gundah gulana bila nampak kain pemidang di atas. Sebuah parti yang majoriti ahlinya beragama Islam dan juga tunjang parti memerintah menyokong 'halal'nya judi. Ada yang memberi alasan untuk mengelakkan judi haram namun mereka umpama lupa perkara asas atau pokok yakni berjudi itu haram dan ditegah dalam Islam. Allah berfirman dalam surah Al - Maidah ayat 90 yang bermaksud:

"Sesungguhnya (meminum) khamar, berjudi, (berkorban untuk) berhala, mengundi nasib dengan panah, adalah perbuatan keji termasuk perbuatan syetan, maka jauhilah perbuatan-perbuatan itu agar kamu mendapat keberuntungan."

Apakah tidak mencukupi bagi mereka frasa 'adalah perbuatan keji termasuk perbuatan syaitan' untuk menimbulkan rasa takut dan faham bahawa judi itu sesungguhnya perbuatan yang merosakkan? Pada masa yang sama terdapat golongan yang mengakui judi itu haram namun memberi alasan di kalangan bukan muslim judi itu tidak haram, maknanya 'judi halal' itu terpakai untuk golongan bukan Islam sahaja!

Pendapat dangkal yang disokong mantan PM ke-4 ini juga amat bahaya dan menyimpang dari perkara asas iaitu judi hukumnya haram. Tugas pemerintah beragama Islam ialah mendokong dan menegakkan hukum Allah dan bukannya membeza - bezakan antara mereka yang bukan Islam dan Islam. Hukum dan larangan dalam Islam mempunyai hikmahnya yang tersendiri dan ini diakui oleh bukan Islam sendiri malah disokong oleh bukti - bukti saintifik. Mereka yang bukan Islam turut menentang 'penghalalan' judi atas bukti bahawa ia memudaratkan misalnya ia boleh menyebabkan ketagihan sama seperti arak dan ini pasti memudaratkan seseorang terutama mereka yang telah berkeluarga. Mereka lupa tanggugjawab untuk membesar dan menyara anak - anak bahana obsesi pada judi - sanggup bergolok bergadai untuk berjudi.

Pada masa yang sama mereka yang beragama Islam akan turut terjebak dalam judi memandangkan ketika ini pun judi 'halal' seperti 4D, 6D dan sebagainya turut dilanggan oleh mereka yang beragama Islam dan penguatkuasaan untuk menghalang mereka berjudi amat lemah dan ia tidak akan mampu dilakukan 24 jam ,7 hari seminggu dan 365 hari setahun! Kerajaan yang menghalalkan judi nyata bersubahat menggalakan maksiat dan dosa dan sesungguhnya mereka yang arif tentang hukum Islam dalam kerajaan terutamanya kabinet persekutuan yang menghalalkan judi bola sepak pasti akan dituntut dan dipertanggungjawabkan lebih berbanding mereka yang jahil. Di manakah rasa takut dan tanggungjawab mereka?

Buta Hati

Acapkali dunia dikejutkan oleh keangkuhan dan keganasan Zionis dan tatkala itu dunia termasuk buana Islam turut melenting sebagai respon kepada keganasan umat 'buangan' itu. Ia seperti roda yang berputar tanpa henti dan silih berganti persis putaran karbon dioksida dan oksigen. Malang sekali umat Palestin yang terbelenggu di bumi sendiri, mengharap ihsan. Sehingga kini, dunia Islam khasnya dan dunia seluruhnya gagal bertindak proaktif dalam menangani tingkahlaku 'syaitan' bergelar Zionis, sekadar mengutuk dan membentak namun kesannya pada susuk tubuh bangsa hina Yahudi langsung tidak kelihatan.

Dunia Islam terus hanyut dan terpenjara dalam misi mencari identiti sendiri, namun ia terus - terusan gagal seolah - olah suatu kembara tanpa noktah dan penghujung walhal kitab dan ajaran tinggal insan terunggul sentiasa di samping. Lebih malang susuk - susuk yang bergelar Muslim seolah - olah buta dan membiarkan Zionis terus menjarah Palestin malah kadang kala menggalakkan keganasan sepertimana perbuatan Mesir menutup sempadan bahana takut dan akur mereka pada Zionis dan Yahudi. Negara - negara Islam lain seperti Turki, Indonesia, Mesir dan banyak lagi bukan sahaja buta sejarah malah buta hati dengan mengadakan hubungan langsung dengan negara haram Yahudi walaupun ketika ini Turki kelihatan mula sedar dari kesilapan.

Bagi negara - negara yang tiada hubungan diplomatik dengan negara haram Israel, nikmat dan keuntungan dunia membutakan mata mereka yang celik, menggelapkan sanubari mereka. Malaysia sendiri konon atas rasional semangat kesukanan merelakan buminya dipijak manusia - manusia terkutuk Yahudi suatu ketika dahulu. Kini, mereka turut menghalalkan hubungan haram dengan syarikat berkaitan Yahudi, kali ini atas pertimbangan kuasa - mengekalkan kuasa walau apa cara sekalipun. Pemimpin mereka di saat seluruh dunia termasuk mereka yang berlainan agama sekurang - kurangnya pantas mengutuk perbuatan gila Zionis menyerang kapal misi bantuan ke Gaza, namun Malaysia hanya mengeluarkan kenyataan 'copy and paste' selepas berjam - jam Zionis mengganas!

Celaka Zionis!

Sekali lagi Zionis terkutuk 'mencabar' dunia dengan serangan pengecut ke atas flotila misi kemanusiaan dan sekali lagi maruah dan kehormatan manusia dicalar tanpa sebarang tindakan konkrit mereka yang bergelar kuasa besar dan yang lebih memilukan saudara seagama warga Palestin terus berdiam diri menikus lantas menunjukkan betapa lemahnya mereka yang rata - rata sebangsa dan yang lebih parah seagama dengan mereka yang terkepung di bumi Palestin.

Zionis di bumi rampasan mereka terus berleluasa sedang jiran terdekat seperti Mesir terus berdiam diri malah sebelum ini tegar bersekongkol dengan syaitan bertopeng manusia dengan menghalang warga Palestin daripada mendapatkan bantuan. Di mana nilai kemanusiaan dan ukhuwah yang diajar dan dipelajari selama ini. Tidakkah mereka sedar peringatan Allah dalam Al -Quran tentang sikap dan perilaku susuk - susuk tubuh berbangsa Yahudi itu? Jelas umat Islam kini seperti buih - buih laut yang banyak tetapi tidak bermakna, langsung tiada kekuatan dan iltizam melindungi saudara seagama.

Di mana kuasa - kuasa Islam seperti Arab Saudi, Jordan, Indonesia dan Malaysia sendiri? Sekadar melalak seperti anjing menyalak bukit tiada maknanya atau membawa resolusi ke PBB. Beratus mungkin beribu resolusi telah diluluskan namun langsung tidak memberi kesan pada haiwan zionis itu. Adakah cukup sekadar mengharapkan marhaen bangkit dan turun ke jalan - jalan raya berdemonstrasi? Atau mengharap persona non grata seperti Osama Ben Laden untuk bertindak?

Lebih malang tatkala ramai pemimpin Islam masih berhubung langsung dengan Zionis Laknatullah seperti Mesir, Jordan, Indonesia atau sekurang - kurangnya melantik mereka yang berkepentingan menjulang idealisme Zionis sebagai penasihat, semata - mata ingin terus berkuasa? Sikap munafik inilah penyebab Zionis terus mekar dan berkembang dan langsung tidak gentar dengan luahan api kemarahan rakyat terbanyak dunia kerana pemimpin - pemimpin dunia termasuk mereka yang mengaku beriman kepada Allah dalam diam mengiakan keganasan Zionis.

Enough is enough and those in power have the responsibility to do something concrete to rectify this oppression done by an illegitimate nation upon a legitimate people and country. Enough with rhetorics and the Holocaust as today it is clear that Holocaust is really a myth to legitimise the oppression done to the People who in the first place have nothing to do with the tragedy (If there really was one) inflicted upon the Jews during WWII. Let us support and help those Palestinians in reclaiming what is rightfully theirs though it seems an uphill battle.

OF LIARS AND CHEATS

It is indeed a sad day for all Malaysians, young and old for it is clear that the ruling coalition has shown their tight grip on all government machinery to stay in power irrespective of its cost and effects. Last night, while it was abundantly clear that the Opposition was leading and in fact was the clear victor of the Sibu by-election, the Election Commission was 'clearly' seen trying to manipulate the outcome of the election. In other words, they were trying to rigg the election in favour of the ruling coalition whom they mistakenly believe to be their superior thus the need to protect them.

Earlier on , the EC announced that the percentage of voters was only 59% give and take but suddenly towards the end when it was clear that the Opposition was going to win it miraculously increased to 70+! Yet, many seem oblivious to these manipulations or rather cheating and abuse of power by the officials who are entrusted with upholding their respective responsibility by the People. It is sad to see and witness the natives to stick to those who are in fact cheating them of their trust behind their back and continue to support the oppression just because the threat of them being overpowered by the non natives. This latest episode of power abuse by the ruling coalition should be an eye opener to all and the need to change the party controlling or managing the government takes priority. Their tactics of showing the chaos in Thailand should never scared the People since those demonstrators are actually asking the right for a democratically elected government though the Thaksin led government might not be the best for what they had done to the Muslims in the South, but they are in the first place democratically elected by the People. Hence, our fear about the chaos that might befall us is a non issue.

Time is ripe for all peace and democratic supporters to show the ruling coalition of who is really the boss since it is very clear now that the ruling coalition unlike the Labour Party in Britain to go away gracefully and with dignity. They are no different from those power crazy nuts in Zimbabwe and other third world nations. The only way to boot them out is through clear vote for the People's Pact and there is no two ways about it..only a clear mandate for the People!

Old Timer [OTAI]

THE MIGHTY TDM

It is not hard to understand why the 4th PM is still holding deep dislike for his chosen successor - his crooked bridge was immediately repudiated once the 5th PM was emplaced citing public dissension and the costs as reasons for its scrap. Nonetheless, it is still bewildering to see a predecessor keep on beating his own chosen successor! Yet, being the man he his, it is not really surprising as he during his record tenure of 22 years had 4 right arm men of which one was disgraced by his own blessings.

He is not a person who is used to have his decisions criticised as what happened back in 1987 through the Lallang Operation. His former deputies' fall from grace too had to do with clash with him. In 2003, he decided to step down but until today he is still there at least making very loud noise and again his own chosen successor is his favourite punching bag. Again, it should not be a mystery as his successor's son in law is the current Youth Chief of the party he once led. A position that threatens the survival of his own son who by the way was defeated by the 5th PM's son in law for the coveted seat of Youth Head. He claimed that the nation lost more than 300 billion in oil revenues but then again what is the price of oil as compared to dignity seeing your country being carved just like what happened to Germany after WW1 and WW2? Besides, as countered by his arch nemesis, Malaysia still enjoys the right to share and develop the proceeds of both oil wells.

Sadly, being the statesman that others claim him to be, he should enjoy his years of blissful retirement mending the ties that he once broken within and especially outside his affiliate. Nonetheless, if and hopefully he continues his trade, the Opposition will gain more! Thus, please continue dear TDM!

Scoundrels

Just because you are not selected, you quickly abandon the shelter which for a time gives you protection and opportunity to become somebody. Yet, you will proclaim that you are leaving because you no longer subscribe to the ideology of your former colleagues and worst still you declare that you are now championing the People through the party that you once labeled as traitor to the aspiration of the commoners.

Really , you don't deserve anything but the whip!

DOUBLE STANDARD

After a long hiatus finally I managed to do some writings a.k.a updates to my blog, a place where I poured out my dissatisfaction particularly towards the ruling coalition and their followers. It certainly was annoying and irritating when their conducts were always 'protected' by people who were supposed to be impartial in dispensing their responsibility though they belonged to the same rank and file.

Speaker of the Lower House or the Dewan Rakyat together with his two deputies should be professional in dispensing their duties with regards to violation of the Standing Orders or any related rules thereto but what transpired in these few days were really maddening since all their colleagues though clearly had flouted the rules but they were not even reprimanded but if the Opposition were to do the same, all hell would certainly break lose! Though nobody ask for any reprimand or the like, the three of them will immediately apply any foreseeable and accessible Orders just to ban those from the Opposition.

Such conduct certainly show that though they are supposed to be professional but since they belong to ruling coalition therefore they willingly allow themselves to be used and manipulated by their superiors and thus inflict hardship and injustice to the other side irrespective of whether their conduct merits a reprimand or a ban. Sadly many Malaysians are gullible enough to condone and forget such transgression of democratic principles. Malaysians should realised that they have been fooled for so long and now it is only right to teach those in power a lesson they will never forget; the real power is in the hand of the Commoner!

SELF-ANNOINTED CHAMPION

The Self Appointed Champion!

Indeed it has been an eventful weeks since the last time I recorded my two cents days ago. However the most interesting of all is how once again PKR stole the attention through their unruly and ungrateful elected representatives. It is indeed a disappointment to see their childish bickering and indeed it may be due to their recently acquired power, a true green horns - naive at best.

The conduct of ZN, their outspoken and self-proclaimed champion of Islam is perhaps the most shocking and disappointing ever. Day by day he becomes closer to the alliance he has been fighting since. His words today seem and in fact reflect his true colour, deep inside his love for the domineering party as some claim. His 'love' for the ruling coalition is become much too obvious when now as he resorts to based his opinions and views of the dreaded Utusan. The mouthpiece of the dominant force in the ruling coalition has been known to be actively spreading lies and half truth when it comes to the Opposition. Yet, ZN prefers to speak his mind based on reports published by the newspaper. Being an Opposition member and a 'staunch' defender of his faith he should know better. At least, he should have some decency to remember that he owes his 'YB' title from the people who risked everything electing him instead of the ruling coalition's candidate back in 2008.

Being a 'learned' Muslim, he should know better of the workings of a Jamaah, an organisation of which he should share his misgivings within the organisation he belongs to since everyone is aware that nobody is perfect and therefore there bound to be disagreement and clashes of ideas. Him, being a politician and a leader of a party should know better to air his ideas and views. Certainly not the way he and a few of his colleagues have been behaving so far. At least, the former P.Pinang PKR Chairman has the guts to leave the party but not for ZN. He insists on being within the party but at the same trying very hard to undermined it as if he is tacitly following orders from outside.

His claim of being victimised and sidelined by little pharaohs may be true but again the way he has conducted himself totally has affected his party, the one which has sheltered and offered venue for him to channel his struggle and idealism. Observing his behaviour, he should be in PAS but at the same time he is also involved in a heated disagreement with PAS' Shah Alam MP. He is really trying hard to portray himself as a true and uncompromising Muslim which is of course a commendable conduct but being a green horn, he succumbs to emotion and whether he realises it or not his behaviour nowadays reflects more of his actual nemesis, the ruling coalition.

We respect the views of those who say that Allah only belongs to the Muslims since that is the prevailing practice here and that marching in commemoration of the Holy Prophet's Birthday is a way of showing deep love and respect of the Prophet, a long time practice of the Muslims here. Yet, improving the understanding and practices of Islamic faith should emerge above the rest since without the practices any faiths will no longer relevant. ZN should put his utmost efforts not merely upholding the surface of Islam but most importantly tries his level best trying to uphold the teachings of Islam. Non Muslims throughout the world have been using the pronoun Allah long before the birth of the Prophet SAW and marching in remembrance of the Prophet's birth is not sanctioned in Islam and in fact remembering his birth too does not even occur in both the Al-Quran and As-Sunnah. Indeed, the 'celebration' is a later 'creation' of his followers to show their love for him. Marching certainly is not an itinerary even then!

It seems that the Opposition is undergoing a baptism of fire, a strenuous training to prepare themselves ready to take over the helm from the present ruling coalition or at the very least as an attractive alternative. Hence, the Opposition will be better off without the likes of those emotional green horns. The little Pharaohs ZN are talking about are actually the voices of the mass who really want to see the Opposition to emerge stronger than ever. ZN and the likes are dispensable and worthless in view of a stronger Opposition. If they still have even a scintilla of honour in them, please leave and resign from your post!

Retribution

When a public figure dies, the whole country mourns for him. Everywhere people talk and praise such figure for all his deeds he has done during his life. Sadly, whatever he has done that caused others to suffer have by then been ignored and forgotten as now People are busy praising his 'deeds' particularly when he he is a public figure. Those who once and I believe are still suffering because of his misdeeds forever remain in obscurity.Those people are those who have not only victimised and but their cries for justice are ignored because they belong to those ordinary and thus worthless souls.

Of course it is wrong to talk bad about those who have departed and thus are unable to defend themselves against any accussation but to blindly and deafly ignored the pleas of their victims is itself wrong and being one who belongs to the Islamic faith, they are asked to seek forgiveness and render justice to those who deserve them and not turning away as if nothing happened. Fortunately, He , being the Supreme Being is All Seeing and All Knowing, thus in Him we put our trust that such heinous injustice will be duly served the moment the deceased is laid into his or her final 'resting' place.

Being the Authority while on earth, none is able or even dare to stand up against him, those who try to will meet unimaginable circumstances. But, nobody can run forever, sooner or later his past will catch up with him with tremendous speed and retribution.
