IBULLSHIT

This more like it.....BULLSHIT!

The Chairman of the ruling coalition once again reiterated that his 1Malaysia slogan is no political tool, instead it is a unifying battle cry to all Malaysians.Reading at his 1Malaysia booklet, one cannot argue with him but what concern all is how 1Malaysia is being implemented particularly those people whom he claimed to champion.

The people of Sabah, Sarawak and those who feel themselves being unjustly treated by the majority or rather by the Umnoputras are the ones who better understand what 1Malaysia really is. All these while, Malaysians in Sabah particularly have been calling for the Federal government to appoint Sabahans as head of Federal departments in Sabah as per the Malaysian Agreement but more or less their pleas fall on deaf ears or those Malayans (Read Umnoputras) never bothered to listen.

Being a state of abundant resources too is not helping the state to achieve greater height, mainly because of certain unscrupulous local leaders who are bent to enrich themselves rather then dispersing their responsibility rigtheously. Their greed is sadly abetted by the Federal government by returning a minuscule of what the state gives or contributes to the nation's coffer.

Oftentimes, the ruling coalition keep on labelling and calling Sabah as their fixed deposit but instead of repaying the contribution, they keep on ignoring pleas from aggrieved Malaysians in the state. There are many areas particularly in the rural parts of the state where many are still poor with little or no amenities like electricity and good road and transportation while folks in Kuala Lumpur are enjoying all the perks and latest facilities money can buy. Once the government claimed to have saved billions from subsidy cuts but instead of spreading the wealth to all parts of the nation they chose only to concentrate on upgrading the transportation system in the nation's capital. Yet, Kuala Lumpur today is still suffering from acute traffic jams all over, all the time!

The Penans and other indigenous in Sarawak are being silently uprooted from their ancestral lands but yet again the ruling coalition turn blind to that and various other abuse of power and misconduct of the nation's longest serving Chief Minister. As far as Malaysians are concerned the Sarawakians are left to their own device to fight the regime of CMS in the land of hornbills. However, the Sarawakians are better off compared to their fellow Malaysians in Sabah who despite being the second largest state with equally abundant natural resources, continues to languish behind other state half of its size.

Is this what 1Malaysia? Perhaps not but that is the reality that everyone has to admit as 1Malaysia really means 1Umno/BN!

NO TO NUCLEAR!

NO to NUCLEAR PLANTS!

Invigorated and justified by the 'fact' that oil and gas are getting scarce and thus expensive Malaysia despite knowing its risk and having no expertise or more correctly lack of expertise has decided to go for nuclear energy. The Minister responsible for energy declared that Malaysia will be building two nuclear powered plants which location is yet to be known.

Energy, Green Technology and Water Minister Datuk Seri Peter Chin said the government would engage an international consultant to evaluate the location and requirement for such plants to be built. He who survived a pay cut motion in the Parliament and attracted criticism particularly from Sabah due to the lackadaisical attitude of SESB in solving power woes in the state again is inviting opposition and criticism since nuclear power is too risky though there are obvious benefits.

Time and again, Malaysians have come up with suggestions to develop more eco-friendly source of energy but the government seems not interested and usually make light of such suggestions. Perhaps they are drawn back by the initial cost but every initiative or venture usually requires higher cost in the beginning especially if it is eco-friendly but in the long run it is cheaper and most importantly it is safer not only to the environment but all living organisms as well.

If they are bent on their so called austerity drive then what about some costly yet lowly beneficial projects like the proposed renovation of Seri Perdana, the 100 storey Wawasan Tower and many more projects which are least beneficial to the majority of the mass. The hazard of having such plants though they may be located far away from residential areas, is greater as what had happened to Chernobyl more than two decades ago. Only after 24 years, the Ukranian government dares to reopens Chernobyl to human populations.

Being the Safe Deposit of the ruling coalition gives me the jitters since they might be thinking of building the plants here since the state is sparsely inhabited as compared to the Peninsular and of course by virtue of their label of the state as being their fixed deposit. Being the fixed deposit does not means that the state is their favourite but rather they are able to do whatever they please since in their twisted mind, the people in the state will adhere whatever they tell them.

I am not insinuating anything but being the poorest state in the nation after years of achieving independance must certainly adds to strengthen my point that they will do whatever they feel like to do. Fortunately, their plan to build coal powered plant in state has so far not materialised because of some oppositions from the people.

These groups of people are our only hope that both the coal and nuclear powered plants will not be built on our soil and in fact any so called developments which endanger every single life in Sabah.

Buta Sejarah

Negeri kaya, rakyat miskin

"Rupanya masih trdapat masy yg xmemahami bahawa keistimewaan org melayu merangkumi hak2 istimewa kaum bumiputera sabah/sarawak. Mungkin ini juga salah satu faktor mengapa kaum bumiputera di sabah khasnya, ada segelintir yg agak emosional a/bila org Melayu lantang mempertahankan hak yg telah dipersetujui sebelum kaum imigran diterima menjadi warga Persekutuan Tanah Melayu & akhirnya Msia.Perlu diberi penjelasan."

Pluralism According to THEM

Bravo Sahibus Samahah!

I salute the Perlis Mufti for his excellent insight when he openly condemned those who were accusing others of practising or promoting pluralism. According to him , such rushed and harsh accusations is just like the Talibans did in Afghanistan not too long ago. He added and I totally concur with him that such extremity is bad for this country where we have multi races and faiths.

Those people seemed to forget the practices of Prophet Muhammad SAW and many of his companions of practising respect and tolerance when it comes to religion. What is more appalling is that the seminar in which those people uttered such criticism or rather accusations seemed to forget or deliberately skipped some practices of leaders from the ruling coalition which was clearly against the teachings of Islam like what the Perak coup leader did few weeks ago and how the self proclaimed First Lady of Malaysia organised a fashion show purportedly to promoter Islamic fashion when it was clearly the opposite. How about some leaders who indulged themselves in things that are clearly against the teachings of Islam like bribery and drinking liquor? These are the things rightly pointed out by the Perlis Mufti, which I am sure will be facing the brunt later on since he is actually an outsider being a Sarawakian himself.

One of the speaker in the forum or seminar was once a supporter of DSAI but out of the blue he suddenly criticised and accused him of pluralism. In a way, that is commendable since he is trying to correct something that in his opinion is wrong but he is being unfair when obvious misdeeds by leaders from the ruling coalition went missing in his criticism and furthermore he did not do a thorough check on the history of the Prophet SAW and the companions on the same matter.

Selective and unfair criticism have been practised widely by the ruling coalition against the Opposition or others who have dissenting ideas. Such conduct in the end deprives the mass of the truth or at least the other side of the story causing them to blindly agree and follow what the leaders of the ruling coalition are saying making them to make mistake of retaining the people who have for all the years cheated them not only of their wealth but also their freedom and sanity as well!

THE FATE OF A FIXED DEPOSIT STATE

Evidence of Sabah being a 'FIXED DEPOSIT'

PUTRAJAYA: Ten national schools have been selected for a pioneer project under the Trust School programme to help improve teaching and learning methods. The schools, located in Johor and Sarawak, comprise high, average and low-performing schools.

Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said Yayasan Amir, a foundation under Khazanah Nasional Berhad, would monitor the schools to find out what they were lacking in and how they could improve their teaching methods.

The schools are SK Bandar Baru Uda (2), SK Kampung Layau, Kota Tinggi, SJK (T) Kangkar Pulai, SMK (FELDA) Semenchu, Kota Tinggi and SMK Gelang Patah in Johor; and SM Sains Kuching, SK Kg Empila, Samarahan, SK Combine, SK Tabuan and SMK Bandar Kuching (2) in Sarawak.

"This project is still in its early stages, and monitoring of the schools is required. If implemented nationwide, there might be problems in monitoring them and determining the standard, quality of teaching and management.

"That is why only two states were chosen in the initial stage," he said after launching the Yayasan Amir Trust School Chain yesterday.

Also present were Khazanah managing director Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar and Yayasan Amir chairman Raja Tan Sri Arshad Raja Tun Uda.

Muhyiddin, who is also the education minister, said the programme was to improve the students' academic and non-academic performances.

He said of the 10 selected schools, five were low-performing schools, three medium and two high-performing schools.

He said besides Khazanah, there were a few other companies and banking institutions that were interested in participating in the programme by adopting other schools as their Trust Schools.

However, he said this could only be done after the implementation of the pioneer project, which would be used as a benchmark.

Muhyiddin also said the schools under the programme would continue to receive government aid.

"For example, for low-performing schools, we will provide assistance, but Yayasan Amir will look into what can be done, like providing computers.

"To improve the learning of English, Mathematics and Science, an expert could be hired to coach students.

"This way, the selected schools will have an edge and we hope there will be improvement in performance."

Earlier in his speech, in line with a decision reached at the National Economic Action Council meeting, chaired by the prime minister in June last year, he said the Education Ministry had been given the mandate to develop the Trust School initiative with Khazanah.

He said the Trust Schools were not elite schools, but selected government or government-aided schools jointly managed by the private sector and the school administration, under the Education Ministry.

"In terms of school management, the ministry will give freedom to the administration, teachers and the private sector to decide on certain matters, like curriculum, finance and acquisition, staff management and flow chart report, apart from preparing guidelines on accountability to avoid over-lapping of function and duties."

Meanwhile, Azman said Khazanah had allocated RM100 million for a five-year period to carry out the programme.

While it somehow a relief to see that the school selected were at the top and bottom extreme which might have meant that there are no such schools in Sabah but it still raises few eyebrows. Sabah, which they always claim as their Fixed Deposit is once again left out in the list and thus is deprived of the much needed help to elevate the level of education.

Being one if not the poorest state in the nation necessarily means that Sabah is in dire need of any assistance from both the government and the private to improve on the level of education which is part of many reasons why Sabah though being the second largest state, is still languishing behind the rest.

Oftentimes, we have heard, read and watch the dire condition of many schools all over the state making learning process a very appalling and onerous experience. This certainly contributes to Sabah being at the lower rung of many if not all public examinations. The students are finding it hard even to go to school and now they have to endure inconducive learning environment. Yet, Sabahans have been returning them time and again to power.

Sabahans should think about their unconditional and in some parts, unwavering support to the ruling coalition. They need to be adventurous and be like their Chinese counterparts when it comes to electing the next government. They have been on the losing end far too long!

The Ketuanan Myth and Justice

Everyone should understand the Constitution for his or her own sake

Justice, fairness and accountability of the rulers are part of the requirements of being a developed nation of which unfortunately and sadly we severely lacked. This is particularly true when it comes between the ruling coalition and the opposition.

Whether we realise it or otherwise, that is the appalling side of our so-called democracy. If we do not belong to the ruling coalition then any dissenting views are construed as belonging to the Opposition or at least pro Opposition, though there is truth in those dissenting opinion. As long as one is affiliated to the ruling coalition then whatever statement, declaration or view coming from their mouth will not be severely criticised and prosecuted by both the ruling coalition and their mouth pieces including majority of the mass media.

While delivering his policy speech at the 2010 National Convention, Tan Sri Bernard G.Dompok openly declared that the term Malay Supremacy (Ketuanan Melayu) should no longer exist. He averred that the 'Tuan' had left Sabah and Sarawak in 1963 and in 1957 for the Peninsular Malaysia. Indeed, his concept , understanding and views of Ketuanan Melayu is shared by majority of Malaysians especially those who feel and experience that they are being sidelined and treated unfairly though they are truly Malaysian citizens.

The UPKO President further cemented his argument by saying that even if the concept of Ketuanan Melayu is actually referring to the sovereignty of the Malay Rulers, the Rulers should therefore are perceived and in reality should look after the well being of other citizens not exclusively those Malay from which the Rulers belong to. Indeed, as Professor Emeritus Khoo Kay Kim had rightfully observed that the concept is nowhere to be found in the Federal Constitution. However, he had differed from Dompok as he opined that the supremacy or ketuanan actually means loyalty to the Rulers.

This is enshrined in Article 32 which stipulated that the Yang Dipertuan Agung is the Supreme Head of the Federation and he shall take precedence over all others. Nonetheless, Dompok rightfully observes that being the Supreme Head of the Federation and since the Federation consists of various ethnics therefore he too is responsible to look after the well being of all and not exclusively the Malays except for those clearly stipulated in the Constitution.

At the same time, the ruling coalition particularly those from Umno including those from Sabah in the like of Armani Mahiruddin were calling for PKR's President head for saying the same thing as that of UPKO President. They were urging that Dr.Wan Azizah be detained under the draconian ISA for 'directly challenging the provisions of the Federal Constitution. This is mind boggling and an insult to every Malaysians since as mentioned above there is no mention specifically about Malay Supremacy in the letters of the Constitution.

In fact Article 153 of which the proponents of the concept often referred to albeit erroneously is about the duty of the Yang Dipertuan Agung to safeguard the special position of the Malay AND natives of Sabah and Sarawak AND the legitimate interests of OTHER COMMUNITIES. Under the law, the word 'and' should be interpreted conjunctively and not otherwise. To interpret the word disjunctively or separately will certainly bring grievous injustice to all Malaysians since under the same Constitution (Article 8), everyone is equal before the law and thus accorded equal protection under the law. Under the 1Malaysia concept, the differences among various ethnics are accepted wholeheartedly and therefore should be celebrated. None should be above the rest as justice for all is the core of the concept promulgated by Datuk Seri Najib himself under auspices of Vision 2020.

Many prefer to ignore the later parts of Article 153 which specifically mention the rights of the natives of Sabah and Sarawak and other communities including the Chinese and the Indians. This is actually what we and our brothers are calling for- Our legitimate rights provided under the Constitution and not what others deem as trying to take way what they have been accorded to as rightfully theirs. I could not find anything wrong with asking for what initially and originally are our rights, could you? We understand that the Malays have certain privileges being the natives or sons of the soil, so do we us natives of Sabah and Sarawak like Borneonisation of Federal posts in Sabah which enviously is tightly and steadfastly uphold in neighbouring Sarawak!

Returning to the issue of Malay supremacy, we could see clearly how Dompok's and Azizah's statement shared their common feature - the term should no longer be used or exist. Sadly, though they share the same feature, only Wan Azizah has to face the brunt from the ruling coalition! This is what many are dissatisfied and even feel insulted. I am pretty sure that many will try to uphold Dompok since he belongs to the ruling coalition by offering countless excuses blurring his own intention.

Being a Muslim and a native of Sabah, I am thoroughly appalled by the double standard and unjust treatment that we have to endure as citizens of this land of ours that we call Malaysia. Everyone should instead remember the provision of Article 8 that we are all equal before the law and of course the preamble to the 1Malaysia concept that our differences should be accepted and celebrated and not otherwise!

BAGAIMANA DENGAN BEAUFORT, JESSEL DAN HUGH LOW?

Tiada nilai sejarah?

The Fate or Ordinary Malaysians

NOT A WASTE! - TDM

Any decisions and actions by any government which do not benefit the public particularly the majority usually will be deemed as waste of public fund. Besides, when such so-called mega structures are under utilised or only accessible to limited sections of the whole society, such building or facility too is deemed a waste of the tax payers' money. In this nation of ours, ample examples are readily available for scrutiny. The Twin Tower, LISRAM, PICC, just to name a few are under utilised or even worse are only 'accessible' to the well-to-do.

For instance, shop lots at the Twin Tower are so expensive thus the people TDM aimed to help or intended to help cannot afford even to rent, what more to buy. Due to their excessive rent, the merchandise too are off limit to many, making them merely for window dressing not for sale. If this is not a waste then let us ask the people from remote areas throughout the country whether they have benefited directly or otherwise by such high rising and mega buildings. The responses are astoundingly in the negative.

A government should not only consider certain sections of the society , these are not the majority. Majority of Malaysians are scattered throughout the land, in remote areas where even there are limited basic amenities. They have to put up with poor road condition, no or intermittent electricity and other sorts of appalling miseries while those in the city continue their lavish lifestyles at the expense of their brothers and sisters throughout this vast nation of ours. While people in Kuala Lumpur enjoy excellent array of facilities, many of us have to be content with facilities equivalent to pre World War II!

Sadly, government of the day choose to ignore the pleas of the long suffering Malaysians of help, by insisting of building more mega structures which are of limited or no relevance to the people in remote areas in Sabah and Sarawak, who can only dream of coming to Kuala Lumpur. TDM in his usual arrogance even said that building even one skyscraper was not a waste of public fund/taxpayers money. Such were the words by a so called statesman!

PKR: Sink or Swim

At a crossroad, sink or swim

I read with interest the purported entry of Lee Chong Meng, the MCA Bukit Bintang division head into PKR. Earlier on, MC Disciplinary Board agreed to recommend his suspension for misappropriation of party fund.

A reader of Malaysiakini later on aptly advised PKR of not to accept him into their fold as according to the reader he (Lee) was suspended for misappropriating party fund. Iam inclined to agree on his reasoning since PKR until today is still struggling to free itself from opportunists who are there only to personally gain something for themselves or just to spite their old party. These people whose integrity and integrity are doubtful as they do not really believe in the struggle of the party they intend to join. Look at what happened when Nasarudin Hashim, the Bota Assemblyman purportedly joined PKR only to left few days later. The incident which led to the fall of Pakatan in Perak should serve as a reminder for PKR before accepting people with dark history.

These people are only serving their own personal agenda since they are no longer trusted in their former organisation. To take them in will not serve the party both in the short and immediate or the long run ,rather it will only bring the party deeper into trouble. Besides, PKR is one of many who called for the resignation of many of their turncoats in Perak and Pulau Pinang. They should stick to their principle of not promoting the leapfrogging culture just because it serves their purpose.

This is the time for them to consolidate their party by discarding the bad apples while at the same time turning away bad apples like Chong Meng. Let those with sincere intention remain and accept the greenhorns rather than the experienced ones but with ulterior motive. If they really are serious of taking over Putrajaya come the 13th general election, then the best is to show and exert themselves a party of principle. Many of their so-called supporters today are not in tune with their struggle but rather because PKR today is gaining attention and recognition by many.

Better be extra careful than sorry and lose everything

Stop Giving Excuses!

Believe and practise- THE ONLY WAY

Some learned in the dominant party of the ruling coalition opined that Hudud could not be implemented though they have the authority. This is based on their interpretation and comprehension of Maqasid As - Syariyyah, the well being and condition of the prevailing condition of the society.

I am not that well versed in such matter thus what will be shared here may not be the true reflection of the actual situation. Nonetheless, from a layman point of view such defensive opinion merely serves as an excuse for them to not implementing Shariah. They have the power and authority to do so - uphold the Shariah since they have been in power for more than 50 years. They should remember the saying of the Prophet that those with power will be answerable for what they have done or failed to do in the Hereafter.

It is mind boggling and a true reflection of their fear of Shariah though they are trained in such field. Today we have countless legislation governing the Muslims throughout the nation from Perlis to Sabah. These laws sadly are not the standardised Shariah law including the Hadd but mostly they are based on Ta'zir, the consideration of the authority. They have been in power for so long but they fail miserably to uphold Shariah to the Muslims themselves!

We are not talking about the non Muslim but those Muslims who are supposed to believe and follow the teachings of Islam if they are true believers and not just selective areas according to their whims and pleasure. Islam is a complete religion and furthermore Islam is a just religion where everything must be present and done accordingly before someone has his hand cut off. In fact the burden of proof under Shariah is far beyond the reach of man - made laws. In Islam the level of proof is beyond any shadow of doubt unlike man-made laws which only requires the slightest doubt. Having a strict burden of proof surely will ensure justice to everyone. The then PM statement that Malaysia will have many crippled citizens if we were to implement is hilarious and of course an insult to Islam.

In fact, Islamophobia is created and cultivated by those in the dominant party by giving misleading picture of Islam. Instead of explaining and disseminating the true Islam, they opt to put fear among non Muslims. How could the non Muslims learn and understand Islam if they are given the lies instead of the truth of how beautiful Islam is. Sadly, many of the things those people claim to protect are not things of utmost important like Aqidah matters. While, they claim to defend Islam but sadly at the same time they are condoning things that are clearly against the sanctity of Islam. If not because of the opposition by the society , we may have legalised gambling today, a sin admitted by the Christian themselves and in fact among other sections of the society as well for its evident evil.

Today, they are busy harping on the contribution by the Penang government accusing the state of giving away tainted money but they do not realise that they are themselves condoning the act by taking and accepting money from the same sources as part of their pay and allowance. Even worse, some are openly involved in abuse of power and bribery. What they have to say about token money while campaigning for party post? This is not just rumours but the blogger has witnessed the practice.

Uttering and proclaiming religious reasons are only serving their reluctance to implement Shariah because they fear that they will become the first ones who will go through the process. They should not fear since it is not easy (unlike in man-made laws) to convict the accused. If they are sincere, they should follow the practice of the Kelantan state government when they introduce the usage of Dinar, a gold based currency which is the right medium of transaction.

Giving excuses is the way of Syaitan

HYPOCRITE AND GAMBLER

Gamble not Your FUTURE!

Every time the so called learned figures from the dominant party of the ruling coalition opened up their mouth lambasting others particularly from the Opposition relating to religious matter, almost immediately their hypocrisy was exposed.

The latest was the contribution of RM100 by the Penang State government when they claimed that it was sourced from gambling. Many innocent and naive old folks were deceived to 'return' the contribution in the most celebrated manner as if they had done something so meaningful in the name of their faith. However, Dr.Asri Zainal Abidin quickly doused the fear of Muslims by stating that the money received from non halal source is allowable as in the present case since it was given on the basis of assistance just like when someone is paid using non halal sources like what the civil servants of today.

Elected representatives from the ruling coalition then were called upon to return their allowances since it was similarly sourced from non halal revenues. Nonetheless, just like before the call received no positive response from those opportunists so far. This should remind all Malaysians of their highest level of hypocrisy, condemning others while condoning their own acts. Pity for those 'innocent' folks who had been deceived by their ploy and abuse of sensitive matters for their own selfish reasons.

How about this?( Credit to I.S.A). If we follow the logic of the so called learned in the dominant party of the ruling coalition then clearly those people had committed grievous sin as they had corroborated with a gambling company by agreeing, attending and accepting the invitation and gifts from the company. Again, if they were really sincere then they should refrained their fellow Muslims especially those young and ignorant ones from accepting such invitation. So far, until today those people have not uttered anything since they won't get any leverage if they exposed such thing to the public.

Let us pray hard that those hypocrites will no longer hold Malaysians at ransom by stating that they are the only saviour of the people as they have done nothing except to create unfounded fear and spreading racism among us Malaysians. We should extend our greatest gratitude to the Almighty for His Grace of exposing those people hidden agenda. Come 2012, let us be free from those hypocrites!

Islamophobia by the Ruling Coalition

Finally, he talks about Islam or exactly how he in the guise of his nation could help the U.S to counter Islamophobia.Sadly as one blogger correctly observed, he offered such help not during UNGA but behind the four walls of his hotel room to bunch of ruling coalition controlled media!

Instead of being proud of his offer, I read it with dread since his ruling coalition is bent on portraying the wrong face of Islam even among his fellow Malaysians. Islam, which is a universally accepted faith has been unfairly narrowed by his and his supporters. Incidents like the blanket ban on non Muslims from entering the mosque is one of many misdeeds they have done to Islam.

If what he means to counter Islamophobia by liberalising what is clearly forbidden in Islam while disallowing what is allowed then his offer should be rejected first by the Muslims in America. His and his underlings' version of Islam is not the Islam which the Prophet propagated more than 1400 years ago. If belittling the Prophet and his teachings is what they means by countering Islamophobia, then every Muslim not only in the United States but here in Malaysia have the responsibility to correct the misconceptions.

If they openly accuse the learned in Islam of being backward thus his offer should be rejected outright since it will only serve to tarnish Islam rather than helping to portray the true face of Islam. If what is reported here is true, for instance how could it serves to clear Islamophobia when the Muslims who hold power are above the law to commit anything their lust commands?

NEPOTISM MY FOOT!

Who is this fellow to the PM?

Once again like the mad men they are, the ruling coalition particularly the dominant party have accused PKR of practising nepotism when Nurul Izzah, coincidentally the daughter of the incumbent President and the Opposition Leader, decided to enter into the PKR's VP race.
Whether they have forgotten or choose to ignore since it is their natural tendency to bark at the wrong tree, exposing their own flaws like the Teo Nee Ching debacle. Nepotism ofr favouritism of relatives has long since being the practise in the ruling coalition.

The President of MCA has his son installed as his successor as the Labis MP and holding the position of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Agri-based Industries.
The former PM, Tun Dr. Mahathir has his son as the Jerlun MP and the International Trade and Industries Deputy Minister. The Sarawak CM has sin son as the Kota Samarahan Mp an a former deputy minister. The Sabah CM himself has his son in law as the State Assemblyman for Membakut.

The former fifth PM during his tenure let his son and son in law to gain economically while the current PM has
his brother controlling the second largest banking corporation up to date. At the same time, the current PM too has his cousin as his party VP and Minister of Home Affairs, a very influential post. These are tell tale signs of actual and clear nepotism or favouritism, as those bunch of no gooders claim to oppose.

I am pretty sure that their defense will be that people achieved their present standings on their own right, which perhaps is true but so as Nurul Izzah and Lim Guan Eng. They are what they are because of their own tireless effort. Nurul Izzah herself has been active in politics since her father incarceration in 1998. From there on, she has never stop to persevere until she reaches her current status as one of many potential second line of future leaders.

Just because you are related to someone who is a somebody does not mean that you should shun public office or any economic opportunities since you have the calibre, capacity, ability and most of all you too need to earn a living. The Prophet himself has installed his adopted son as the leader in facing the Roman empire during his life time.

At least people like Nurul Izzah is not holding any apparent authority and power unlike many friends and relatives of the current PM, which is therefore prone to abuse. Next time before you condemn others make sure you practise whatever you preach. But then again, they have the power therefore they can do or say whatever they please. I almost forgot that we are living in Bolehland!

In Bolehland, if you belong to the ruling coalition, you are above others!

Same Old PEKIDA

The infamous NGO

PEKIDA, the so called Islam based NGO today called for a new entity to regulate the ethics and conducts of lawyers in consequence of what have happened to Sosilawati, Ahmad Kamil Abdul Karim, Noorhisham Mohammad and Kamaruddin Shansuddin few days ago. The gruesome murders of those figures was said to have been perpetrated by two lawyers, hence the call by PEKIDA!

First of all, the duo were suspended from active practice since November last year but received a stay pending appeal later in October this year. Furthermore, such suggestion is not practical as the Bar has no power and resources to monitor and police the lives of individual lawyers. Even the police themselves will not be able to do so.

PEKIDA's suggestion to put the conduct and ethics of lawyers under the purview of the Attorney General, away for the Bar surely is against the interest of everyone including members of the so called NGO. Logically, if they are put under the purview of the AG it effectively ends their freedom and freedom is the essence of justice. Being part of the justice system they should enjoy the freedom to observe, conduct and discharge their duties as officers of the court freely and without duress.

Direct intervention and supervision by the AG will affect the proper discharge of their duties as they have to bow down to the AG's chambers, themselves are involved in court. In a nutshell, such will lead to abuse of power since they too are human beings bound by errors. If lawyers are directly put under the AG, the latter finally have final control over the administration of justice, which if we may have forgotten has been on the decline since the 1980's after the ouster of the then Lord President, Tun Salleh Abas.

As stated by the Bar, they have adequate and sufficient rules and regulations to oversee the conduct of lawyers and those who are found to infringe the code of ethics and all other laws being in force are not immune or above the law. Such claim by PEKIDA that lawyers are above the law is baseless since the alleged corroborators of the murders are now in custody. If they are above the law then they will not be arrested and put under remand!

The Bar Council should be allowed to continue as the sole body to oversee the conduct of lawyers as to surrender the rein to AG is tantamount to condemn justice to death since the Bar until today remains the last bastion that safeguards what remain of the glorious and revered Judiciary of the old days.

"Listen to the experts who have expertise in their field"

UMNO LIDAH BERCABANG

OTHERS CAN'T AND DEEMED 'HARAM' BUT THEY ARE ABOVE ALL THEREFORE THEY CAN

Again the dominant party and in fact the ruling coalition show off their highest level of hypocrisy and double standard when their gold son, the new Hulu Selangor MP was evidently allowed to enter and mingled freely within the mosque purportedly giving away aids and talks.

The leaked photos of him published in Shah Alam MP's blog is really a blessing to all Malaysians of the ruling coalition evident double standard and abuse of power. Before, those who are aligned to the Opposition were condemned when they were found out to be within the mosque, saying that they had tainted the sanctity of the mosque, a place of worship of the Muslims.

They claimed that those people were unclean therefore had disgrace a sanctuary of the Muslims.
Instead of trying to educate those non Muslims about Islam, they themselves add to the ever growing division between Islam and the others. Evidently, they instead of gauging the gap preferred to fan Islamophobia.

Instead of presenting the universal values and the excellence of Islam they opt to create fear and dissension against Islam. So far, they are not helping towards disseminating the virtues of Islam as ordained by the Prophet himself through his saying that Muslims should spread the good virtues of Islam even through the simplest of a sentence.

The dominant party like Fatah in the Palestine is really a nationalist based organisation though every so often they proclaimed that they are defender of Islam. Of course it is not wrong to safeguard one's race from being discriminated or oppressed but dragging their faith to their so called struggle will only tarnish the good image of Islam. Double standard is in fact a clear evidence of power abuse as they deliberately do what they prohibit others to do.

Excluding non Muslims from the mosque just to appease some people while allowing the same for their functions misrepresent Islam to others. How could they establish clear and concrete understanding of Islam if they portray Islam according to their whims? These kind of people should be rejected in total come 13th General Election.

NOT CONDEMNING IS WRONG

A paper unworthy of reading

Reading from the infamous mouthpiece of the dominant party of the ruling coalition about a criticism by a persona non Grata lambasting DAP of not condemning the murderers of Sosilawati and three others really make me want to vomit. It is nauseating and so childish of such newspaper to publish such shallow and tantamount to racism comment from such person.

First of all, not all matters should be sensationalised such as a criminal act involving brutal and inhumane conduct as it may severely affect the feelings of immediate family members of the victims. Sensationalised such criminal act by a well-known publication demotes their status like ordinary tabloids which seek readers by doing the same without considering the fact that such may not be true and against the sanctity of human beings.

Murder is an act of unjustified killing and thus a crime. As such, it is not necessary for anyone and in fact everyone to demonising such act as it is a known fact that such conduct is wrong whoever the victims and alleged perpetrators are. Not every thing should become a political tool to gain attention as there are other things need to be considered apart from gaining attention and cheap political mileage. Lives have been lost forever and to take advantage of such heinous crime is an insult to sanctity of life and dignity of both the victims and their family members.

This is why so many hate politician and why many abhor and distance themselves from politics by condemning it as dirty. What really makes politics deem dirty is because of people like the one mentioned above, who is in reality a political whore looking for attention as he is no longer needed. Such inconsiderate behaviours by some politicians-whores should not happened as aims should never justified the means.

HARI MALAYSIA KE 47

Malaysia negara kita

Of Lies and Liars

Even apes need water

It is indeed a very humiliating and irresponsible when the Opposition which coincidentally the ruling coalition at federal level opted to persuade or in my opinion bribe the people of a state that they will enjoy a clean water supply if they are elected to lead the state come the next general election.

They were the government of the state before 1990 , 20 years ago and furthermore they are the government at higher level, which makes them even more powerful than a mere state government. What have they done before? Where were they when they were the government 20 years ago? Clean water as far as living things are concerned is a necessity and not a luxury item. Everyone and everything needs clean water to survive therefore it is incumbent upon them to provide such necessity if the current state government is not able to do so and not to bait the people with such promise. If the private sector has what is called social responsibility thus a government therefore has to shoulder the responsibility since they are accountable here and in the Hereafter for their action and inaction.

The ruling coalition is well-known for their hand-twisting tactics as such. Promises were given at ease and as they pleased without really caring to uphold them. During many occasions, they had promised many things but had fulfilled so little though they have the means to do so. In fact, they have abundant resources at their disposal but they lack sincerity and a sense of responsibility.

The problem of legal and illegal immigrants in Sabah for instance has been there for a very long time but the government controlled by the ruling coalition is seemed to be reluctant to approach and solve the cancerous problem once and for all. Rather, they opt for piece by piece approach which has so far fail to solve the problem but to certain extent seems to aggravate it. They might have some hideous political agenda in dragging their feet on the matter - their own political agenda but tacitly proclaiming religion as their basis of inaction.

Today, people are no longer naive like the old days when the then former fourth PM was in power. Today he has the audacity of saying that people during his time especially those non Muslims were happy but what he did not say but now has become an open secret is that his iron fist style of governance is actually the reason behind the artificial peace during his tenure. As time progress, dictatorship has lost its grip on the people and today instead of reading and believing the mainstream media, people prefer to read them with caution, no longer trusting what is reported without resorting to the other side of the story which luckily is shared by the new media which has become the new mainstream media.

Blessed Nation with a Blessed Leader

I feel blessed if my leader do this

For the very first time in my short life, I have witnessed a sitting or presiding Ruler is replaced by another. This, I would say is rather peculiar and not the prevalent practice but the proclamation as Tuanku Faris Petra as the 41st Sultan of the state of Kelantan, is certainly the first in many years. Professor Aziz Bari, a renowned expert in Constitution opined a few days ago that such is valid provided that it is done accordingly by the State Regency Council. The case is interesting due to its academic discussion which will arise soon. But this writing will not focus on the validity or the impact of such proclamation.

Being a new Ruler, who has been groomed to take over certainly attracts some if not intense attention to him. What attracts the blogger is the qualities possessed by the new Sultan. Again, for the very first time the nation witnessed a Ruler leading a prayer , behind him were the learned including the well-known Tok Guru. Being a leader, one is supposed to be able to carry out such task with ease as the Holy Prophet and the Rightfully Guided Caliphs who succeeded him themselves were also led the prayers.

A blessed leader should possesses such quality and not merely the skills of being able to lead in worldly matters. A country will immensely be blessed if one like him is the leader. Hopefully by 2012 this nation of ours will witness such memorable event when one who is of high piety assumes the onerous responsibility of guiding the nation towards 2020. One who is not corrupt inside and out, Insya Allah

'ENCIK' CHUA JUI MENG

'Encik' Chua Jui Meng

Today, another Opposition leader has his Datukship revoked and has been asked to return the award immediately to the authority. Of course, it is the prerogative of the authority to award anyone they please based on their own criteria and for sure CJM, has no grudge against losing his Datukship, if he is sincere in his struggle for the People. The award is only a sign of recognition but most importantly it is the People's acknowledgment that counts first and foremost. Remember the late Tun Ghaffar who until later in his life agreed to accept the Tunship by the Agong. Many figures especially those in the opposition and civil and humanitarian groups died without a Datukship. Nonetheless, they are forever remembered for their long lasting contribution even surpassing the authority who has the prerogative to award such title.

People especially those who are directly affected by one's conduct will remember such help or oppression that they have enjoyed and suffered not because of the Datukship. Nonetheless, it needs to be cleared here that many out there who have committed grievous hurt against so many innocent people through criminal acts like cheating and even serious crimes are still with their titles. Such double standard or ignorance by the authority is like rubbing salt on those who are affected. They continue to suffer in silence looking and observing those who have hurt them are still enjoying the world as if nothing have happened.

Just because those figures are in the Opposition, they should not be deprived of their title and that is the impression of the mass whenever such revocation is known though it may be caused by other reasons. People will start to compare those crooks with title and those who lost their title by virtue of them being in the opposition. Certainly, they will see injustice and and an insult to them. Those who have contributed and still actively doing the same to the society and those crooks who are still doing what they know best yet they still have their title and in some cases are elevated to higher title just because they are close to the authority.

Nevertheless, for what they have done to the society and for the humiliation that they have to endure, the People will always be at their side as now they are free being burdened by such title . Now, they can mingle freely among the mass without others being class-conscious. They have truly become one of us, the commoner. Now, we are back to the old time where leaders are truly reflections of the people they lead without class distinction. Indeed, such augurs well with their struggle for the people.

Zionist in our Backyard!

Lest We Forget!

Lest we forget as many observers correctly put it, while we continue to struggle against the Zionist and their supporters we should never let our guard down in respect to those local 'Zionist' (Read oppressors). Many know who they are since they are the ones who hold the authority and power of this nation.
Most of the time and maybe all the time , they openly abuse their authority to put the People at ransom, threatening them subtly with promises of development and progress with the condition that the People continue to support them just like what happened during the last by elections in Hulu Selangor and Sibu.

In desperation to wrestle back and to retain the seat, they unashamedly resorted to political threat and enticing or whatever you call them, promising development but with the condition of that the voters vote them to power. In fact, this tactic has been the practise all over the country ever since they are in power more than 50 years back but today People are no longer that gullible and naive as they know their rights and the difference between sincerity and political ransom.

In fact most of their conducts are no less shameful as those done by the Zionist - to remain in power becomes their shared objective and goal. Everything started in the early 80's when the 4th PM took over. Unlike his predecessors who are legally trained and therefore are well aware of both legal and moral implications of their actions, the fourth one is not known for subtlety and wisdom , all he wants is result and he is really a result maniac. He wants result there and there and the aftermath is least of his concern.

Lallang Operation and the sacking of the Lord President in the middle of 80's are only few examples of his apparent impatience and disregard of the law.
What is happening today is only a continuation of his doings or rather his undoings. His two successors are only following his steps in ensuring that power remains in their hands whatever it costs in blatant disregard of the sanctity of the rule of law. True loving and responsible Malaysians need to be aware of the existence of Zionist copycats in our own lawn.

BEWARE OF ZIONIST COPYCATS
