Borrow at Your Own Peril

Please help them sincerely and honestly

I still remember during my study years, the scholarship that we should received earlier was somehow delayed by the university causing some unrest among desperate students resulting in them picketing in front of the bursary office. From that day, I have been hearing hearing about how some institutions 'detained' the scholarship money for a few months to gain profits for other purposes. Whether this is true or not I may never know for sure.

Today, we have another alternative which government sponsored, the PTPTN. Basically such fund is to offer help and assistance for the needy and such it is commendable. However, today the 'interest' imposed upon the loan has become a topic of discussion. Being a government agency and also being an Islamic country, such interest should be a non issue since in Islam interest is strictly prohibited though some financial institutions disguised such as service fees or other names just to legalise it under Shariah.

Being an institution set up to help and offer assistance to the poor and the needy therefore it is illogical for them to impose even the minutes percentage of interest since according to Shariah it is strictly prohibited and studying is also considered a jihad. Besides, those who are pursuing their studies fall under the category of being legible for zakat. Usually when we talk about zakat, those who receive them are considered as poor.

It is inconceivable and insulting when others said if you do not have the means to repay the loan therefore do not borrow. Such statement is very inconsiderate since learning should not become a business commodity to press the poor and the desperate into further trouble. Learning should become a fun experience and not something that we dread about. They pursue their studies hoping that someday their life becomes better but by being forced to pay the interest , they have to pay them for sometimes before their could even dream of a better life.

Some Muslims even try to 'legalise' interest based on its quantity which shows their low level of understanding of Shariah. Under Shariah, if something is haram ,thus the amount become irrelevant. If it is wrong , it is wrong whatever the circumstances and if one tries to argue emergency which allows some excuses then where exactly the emergency in the case of PTPTN? There is not even an iota to say that they are in the state of emergency since they are being funded by the government and it is the responsibility of the government to provide assistance to the needy and not to make their life harder by imposing interest on something that will benefit the nation in the future. They always say that the society need to be grateful to the government but does the way PTPTN has been squeezing the lives of the borrowers something to be thankful about? CERTAINLY NOT!

The ends should not certify the means

Harare, Zimbabwe

Let the People read!

Tun M has somewhat issued a veiled permission to the government to release a book on him by Barry Wain. The books have been gathering dust since they arrived at Port Klang about a month ago. It is bewildering when the government has prevented the books from leaving the dock waiting permission from a figure who has long passed his relevancy. If it is true that TDM has something to do with the book being held than it is very obvious that he still plays a deep and irrevocable grip on the present government while the people whom the government should steadfastly served, no longer look upon him in his heydays.

The government should let the People read the book and let them analyse the truth of its contents. Furthermore, since it has nothing to do with the government but rather a former PM thus it is only prudent for the former PM to take legal action against the writer personally as prescribed by the law. He is free to sue the writer for defamation if he finds the contents defamatory and insulting to him. Indeed, it is a private matter and the government should not prevent the People from the opportunity of others' view of the former PM.

Just like in other developing countries, Malaysian politicians have long since utilised and manipulated government agencies to their advantages and sadly the higher echelon of the country civil service colluded with them willingly. Now, TDM dares the government to convene a Royal Commission to probe his alleged abuse of power but instead of him being the only accused, he wants to bring others down with him to the bottom of nowhere.

Convening a Royal Commission which has limited authority is surely a waste of public fund as the findings will become mere report without any effective actions taken just like what happened to the Lingam Gate case. So far, nothing has been done to prosecute those involved though the Commission discovered irregularities in the conduct of those involved. Likewise, the AG's promise to conduct in depth investigation of the missing jet engine is more likely a lip service to the People. The minister concerned was reported to have said that lower officers are involved in the fiasco but such major case needed an officer of substantial standing to issue permission to get the engine out of the camp and not a lowly sergeant or the like.

As Prof. Abd. Aziz Bari succinctly observed days ago Malaysia has become another Zimbabwe due to the acts of selfish politicians. To bring out Malaysia from the abyss of shame and mistrust calls for drastic measure come the 13th GE somewhere in 2012. Being born and live here, it is incumbent for all loyal Malaysians to see that change occurs after the next GE. We can no longer trust them to bring changes since their only concern is themselves.

Profits

The government proudly claims that GST will not burden the People when the Anti Profit Excess Act is enforced but looking and learning from present and prevailing situation. Seldom the People is protected against unscrupulous business practices. Even if there are laws to curb such practices but its enforcement is always questionable.

Just look at the time when the government decided to increase the civil servants' salary, businesses started to hike the prices even before they receive the increment on the pretext of increasing costs. In the end, the government seems powerless to protect and help the People. Falling back to existing laws has never been effective. We have abundant laws but those laws have more or less fail to achieve their intended objectives.

Of course it is unfair to blame the government for such predicament as the business community themselves need to be cooperative and not bent solely on increasing their profits since they too have social responsibility since without the buyers they too will face tremendous predicament. Business community has been known for ages for their manipulative tendency. Though the society is facing with economic recession, business community seem immune to those problems as they still find ways to maximise their profits.

The Chosen Ones

They may have to suffer indefinitely but they will persist

Listening to the plight of the Palestinians this morning immediately caused me to relate the plight of the democratically elected Perak government. During the discussion both the guests emphatically elaborate on the problems faced by the rightful government elected by majority of the Palestinians. Just like what happened in Myanmar, Iran? and of course in the state of Perak, the people were robbed of a democratically elected government.

The central government thus until today has been making excuses and creates all sorts of problems to legitimise their coup de etat. At the same time they sort of begging the people of setting aside their political difference for the greater good of the nation or state. To achieve the effect they invoke religion for their plea. In fact what they are doing is actually to create and enlarging the already muddled situation due to their back door tactics.

Having many agencies at their disposal, they continue to defy the morally act they should have done but saying that what they are doing is constitutionally sound as prescribed by the State Constitution. They seem to equate just and legal though both are totally different in both meaning and concept. Just like what happen in Palestine and Myanmar, they deliberately ignore the wish and choice of the people.

Many if not all in the present ruling coalition are seen or trying very hard to champion the plight of whom they call ' brothers and sisters' but they have forgotten or perhaps deliberately turn blind eyes to those who really suffered because of what Abu Mazin's regime has done to wrest and effectively isolate the rightful government lead by Hamas under Ismail Haniyyeh. For them that is not the issue as the prevailing concern is the establishment of a Palestinian nation. Whoever rule the country is not the issue as long as Palestine becomes a reality.

Perhaps they are right to say that as long as the Muslims unite everything will be all right. But, those so called Muslims are courting with enemies then of course they too become the enemies thus it is incumbent for the others to fight back. Their resilience and endurance for more than sixty years are really amazing. They continue to soldier on despite lacking the sophisticated toys proudly possessed by the Israelis.

It is sad that those within this nation of ours decide to turn away despite the obvious violation of rights by the current 'illegal government in Palestine. This point or issue is never discussed openly by those leaders since they too are guilty of doing the same. The instances are abundant and glaring but they quietly or noisily ignoring the facts.

Not only the overthrowing of a democratic government is being ignored but they deliberately take way the resources rightfully belonging to individual state by establishing the Federal Development Offices in all states controlled by the Opposition. In fact, to show that they are going away with it, Sarawak and Sabah until today have its own Federal Development Departments though in Sabah the name has been change to Sabah Development Office but in reality it is still the same as before. Why do they continue to treat those who voted for them differently? Perhaps, it's their deep mistrust, one may never know.

Block and Ban

It has been awhile since the last I updated my blog, not that I have nothing to say but more because of my busy schedule, downloading materials and all that. Recently I am hooked with downloading reading materials and I like to read more than one books at a time. Having mentioned reading materials, the blogger succinctly remembers how the new book on the 4th PM by one Barry Wain are now being held by Customs simply because the contents do not really portray the images on a Statesman rather the book is more like an expose of his not so exemplary conduct as the longest serving PM of Malaysia. Clearly, he is still a force to reckon with though it has been 6 years since he 'abdicated'.

One good thing about globalisation is the fact that information has become like wind in the sense that it can penetrate even the minutes of hole and that is why I am not really worried about some books being held up or even worse banned by the government. Nonetheless, what about those who have no Internet access or do not even have the resources to get their brains to those 'hot' information? Of course, even the U.S and other developed nations have their own restrictions but we in Malaysia are just like some developing nations who prefer to block any dissenting views particularly if those views go against the authority.

One well-known economist, who by the way is on the opposite side of the present government, Prof. Jomo K. Sundaram has mentioned that Vision 2020 in which we see ourselves joining the likes of Japan and most European nations as developed nations will be delayed by at least 10 years meaning to say that it is no longer Vision 2020 but rather 2030 or even farther. I haven't really read his reasons but looking at our current situation and considering that 2020 is about ten more years then I tend to agree with his 'vision'. Being developed does not mean being merely economically advanced but being developed also reflects being civilly advanced but how could we be advanced if almost every dissenting view is harshly treated to the extent of misusing government arms and agencies by giving the dumbest reason - security.

Look at China, North Korea and Iran on how they strenuously trying to curb freedom of information to see the People tow the line prescribed by the government? We can say that they have failed, thousands have left North Korea since its establishment in 1953. Thousands went to protest at Tienanmen Square in 1989 as well as recently when thousands went to the street protesting against the outcome of the Iran Presidency election. All these serve as reminders to the authority that the best way to curb dissenting views is to give them venues to channel their grievances not just banning them altogether.

Let the People hear them and decide freely

Soothsayers

Soothsayers of the Millennium

When the Selangor state government moots the idea of prohibiting students and civil servants under the state government from taking part in all BTN programme, the fools vehemently oppose to such 'illogical idea and they declare that they will defend the module whatever the cause. Today, one of them admits that the module will undergo a thorough revamp to reflect the 1Malaysia concept mooted by the PM. Hahaha....see who is on fire now.
Before those fools decide to declare their utmost and undying support for such divisive program, they should conduct a thorough and impartial survey on the contents and outcomes of such program. But, bear in mind any research or survey conducted by bias and partial entities like the infamous Utusan will never serve the purpose as what happen few days ago when the paper foolishly declare that the People in Selangor are against the move to ban the program and to prove that they have the support they publish a mere two supporting views from persons of no significance. To make it funnier, one of them has yet to attend the program.

If they really believe in such program why the Cabinet decide otherwise, why not stick to the present module. The reason is simple, the contents of such program not only misleading but at the same time insulting the intelligence of the participants. There have been instances where facililitators shared with the participants some 'confidential' matters just to show the strength of the coalition like the PLUS highway of having secret tunnels and how the police have been brainwashed to follow orders. If these are really confidential, don't they fall under OSA? Why haven't the government do something to prosecute those perpetrators? It is all part of the game and whatever they shared under the name confidential are actually rubbish of their own farfetched and wretched mind. Sayings of sick people to spread their sickness, to sow fear and awe within the participants.

It is puzzling to see a turnaround by the mighty coalition when they decide to revamp the program when people inside the coalition themselves including those in the cabinet are saying that the program has and possesses the best intention. In a nutshell, these bunch of people are really sick to the core and they are beyond help.

As it goes by

For sometime now, any court court's decisions on political matters are for all to guess and most of ten than not, those decisions are easy to predict. At lower court, they readily decide in favour with the Opposition but as it goes for appeal then the higher courts prefer to retain the status quo though facts and laws dictate the opposite.

When the coup d'etat in Perak is challenged in court, the High Court decides in favour of the deposed MB but as it goes to appeal, everything becomes even more complicated and today the matter is left exposed in the open, hoping that the People will forget and it seems true as few and fewer People remember as one of the horribly administered coup in this country.

Gratefully, as cunning as they are, those who are being victimised too have a few tricks of their own albeit its limitation but the power of the day has become extremely restless in the mess they themselves created for the sake of retaining their waning power. Once we have a very respectable judiciary but as of the present day, ours is a mockery of a true judicial system. Perhaps, the judiciary in Cuba or even Maldives is far better than ours since the head of our judiciary himself has strong link with the ruling government. How can the People perceive such institution as being impartial if it is headed by one who once belongs to the ruling party and maybe he still is.

Justice needs to bee seen not merely done

Compassionate My Foot!

This time around the PM has acquiesced to a to be payable to the Kelantan government starting from next year. However, it is not royalty per se and will never be as it is more to a kind of compassionate? pay depending on the oil production. Earlier on , the Federal government is adamant not to pay such as according to them, 'there is no oil in Kelantan '. Now, they are saying that such oil is far away from Kelantan territorial waters, thus unlike Sabah and Sarawak, Kelantan only deserve compassionate payment instead of a royalty for such valuable resource.

Those Kelantanese leaders align to the Federal government are rejoicing such compassion , which in truth is the effort by PAS leadership. It is typical of the former of stealing other people's idea which is more in tuned with the People's aspiration as can be seen in Perak where many of the overthrown PR's government's ideas are being copied shamelessly by the thief of all thieves, as their own. According to those so called Kelantanese leaders, never mind the payment being a compassionate one since it will be for the benefit of the people in Kelantan. According to their simplistic and shallow mind, as long as they get the money then it is enough, more than enough since the payment will be channelled to the Federal Development Department instead of the State government helmed by PAS.

Such half hearted and ulterior laced motive by the Federal government certainly and absolutely will severely affect Kelantan in the long run since being a compassionate or we can say humanitarian basis, the Federal government has no obligation to continue providing or servicing the payment. The payment depends on them solely without any legal consequences. However, if it is in the form of royalty payments, they are duty bound to continue paying the state government as long as oil is still being produced. Indeed, the state government is right in objecting to such payment as in the future although oil is still being extracted from their soil but there might not be any payments.

Besides, if what the BN- led government's claim is true that the oil is not within the territory of Kelantan, why they agree to pay? It , therefore can be summarised that the black gold is indeed within the legal right of the state and not otherwise. Hence, it is only right for the state to pursue the matter in court and demand royalty instead of mere compassionate payment for the resource. Agreeing to such compassionate payment will only put the state in difficult position in the future when the Federal government decides to do away with the payment. They can argue that being compassionate payment they are not legally bound to continue the practice. Furthermore since the state is willing to accept the payment as the Federal government intends it to be - compassionate payment hence, the state has effectively abandon their legal right to claim for royalty.

The above may be a simplistic observation but even if it is royalty as what happens to Sabah in the 90's when PBS was the opposition, the royalty was changed to compassionate payment though there is a special Act stipulating that Sabah has the right over 5% royalty payment as stated in the Petroleum Development Act 1974. The Federal government has no right to reverse, abandon or even changed the provisions and opt instead to compassionate payment. It is uncertain whether the balance has been duly paid to Sabah after UMNO took over the helm in a political coup back in 1994.

It is indeed very dangerous to act in the spur of the moment and accepting such payment as it is as suggested by those stupid leaders who certainly have ulterior motives in urging the state to accept the payment. It is doubtful that such payment if accepted will benefit the People as a whole as being politically different, bias and discrimination will certainly occur. Hence, those areas under the control of the ruling party will enjoy some preference and priority over the others.

Lidah Bercabang Penuh Berbisa

Datuk Hj. Asri Muda, Pelopor Kerajaan Perpaduan Pertama tersungkur dek Lidah Bercabang

Bila ada kemelut lawan
dikata lawan bermasalah

walhal masalah itu
timbul
kerana anasir - anasir mereka

konon lawan kini berantakan

namun ia hanya sandiwara
rahan mereka

lakonan hebat pelakon mereka

Apa ertinya Perpaduan

kalau ia berpaksi kehancuran suatu pihak
pihak yang menang menang semua

tiada istilah menang - menang

yang menang, menang semua

Perpaduan
indah khabar dari rupa
dulu Perpaduan yang dicanang

akhirnya tersungkur jua
di kaki si Lidah Bercabang
Ingin berkongsi kononnya

akhirnya semua dirampas

Pelopor Perpaduan akhirnya
berkelana membawa diri

membina rumah baru
yang goyah
tanpa penghuni

Hati - hati duhai Pejuang

Semangat Rakyat jadi perangsang

jangan nanti jatuh terlentang

maruah habis ditelanjang

Chasing Shadows

Nowadays, topic of the day is 'Change' particularly by political parties clinging to power. In fact their main and perhaps only purpose of propagating changes is none other than their fear of losing power which is slipping either gradually or at a faster rate depending on the People. We heard of the 'Cari Makan' party and indeed the dominant parties existing today are sources of living of many particularly those leaders who today are calling for changes. Changes for others but certainly it is not applicable to them.

During the height of the fuel crisis months ago, they are the ones who call upon the mass to sacrifice, to change their life style while they themselves continue to lead a wasteful life. In fact, long before they call on the People to sacrifice, the latter have been doing the same much earlier. Some have to sell their cars and opt for unreliable public transport, some no longer enjoy eating outside but instead they opt to cook and bring their breakfast and lunch from home.

Changes, for those good for nothing opportunistic scums merely serve as a rhetoric and to shield themselves from criticism for their wasteful and extravagant life style. From as low as being a branch head till the highest ranking official, they are involved in politics merely to serve their own interest reaping everything they can from the office they held which supposedly for helping and serving the mass. It has come to a new height even for those aspiring contractors, if they are not party officials they need to be close to those in power. Hence, we have shoddy works all around since they do not possess the required skills.

People view the changes as none other than the leaders attempt to hold on to power as long as they can while they continue to fool the People behind their backs. Sadly, many fall prey to their awesome oratory skill, promising yet another phantasmagoria to deceive the mass while they drain the nation resources dry and thereafter leave in unimaginable luxury.

It is comical to see how exited those leaders and their supporters in viewing the recently concluded BP by election. They are saying that the People are returning to them but as some political analysts observed it is merely retaining the status quo since BP originally belongs to them. I still remember the Ijok by election just before the 12 GEin 2008, the voters there opted to retain the ruling coalition but later in the 12th GE, they turned the table around kicking the ruling coalition out though the candidate was the same person before the 12th GE.

Bagan Pinang II

Pilihan terbaik......Anda memang BIJAK!

Visit to Bagan Pinang

Malaysians in Bagan Pinang will have their hands full when they cast their votes to choose their representative in the State Assembly. A simple yet daunting task since they need to choose one who really appeals to their aspiration, to see that their home fill with progress instead of lagging behind.

One of the aspirants is their own former Menteri Besar who has ruled them for over 20 years and now he is trying to make a spectacular come back, a feat which he has greater chance of realising it as compared to the other aspirant. For 22 years, he leads the state to memorable heights but perhaps one of his memorable contribution is the unprecedented Nipah Virus outbreak which leads to 105 losing their life. What saddened most Malaysians is the fact that despite being a Muslim majority state, his state is reported to house the biggest and the most number of pig farms both legally and illegally.

Then, he won the UMNO VP post and he proudly proclaims that though he is unknown but he still he manages to win. He is later discovered to be involved in money politics a.ka corruption during the party campaign and election, causing him to lost both his VP and Minister's posts. He then retreats into the background until he resurfaces few weeks ago and now he is on the verge of victory. Yet, again his victory if he indeed win, is tainted by unjust practice through the postal votes line. While the Opposition is denied the access to postal voters he, on the other hand, enjoys the privilege to unlimited access to those voters.

Anyway, nothing is lost until the result is out. In the meantime, Malaysians in BP need to remind themselves that they are involved in creating another history for their homeland but this time around they savour the grandeur of defeating Goliath and rid their home of corrupt leader whose only presence is to rob and shame them further. This, certainly is not intended to insult and shame them but a sincere plead for them to change for the better. Do it for their faith and nation.

Vote Pas, it is never too late for change
Undilah Pas, masih belum terlambat untuk BERUBAH

Anjing Kurap

Dahlah status haram datang merempat buat lagi perkara haram.

Bad Apples

Maybe they deserve it for being bad neighbours

They almost everything that we once treasured but we keep coming to them, not just courtesy visits but we offer our generous help in time when they need it most. There are thousands of them here on the pretext of earning their life but back home their ungrateful brethren call us names even threaten the lives of our people on their soil.

Yet, again we keep helping them just like good neighbours though we know they will not reciprocate. We send our people to help them in any ways that we could , particularly when they suffered calamities in the calamity-prone homeland. How many of those realise that they have been bad neighbours? Most probably just take the help for granted as something they truly deserve since they are in need but less are grateful for their neighbours still care for them.

This may not the time to begrudge our neighbours but when is the time? It may never come since they are obsessed with feuding with us. Now, they have batik to call their inheritance but fortunately theirs are not as lively as ours here and in fact batik certainly does exclusively belong to them since even the West have their own kind of batik like the Hawaiian shirt.

Maybe I am being irrational and bitter but sometimes it is better to fight fire with fire. Certainly we do not to be in war with them but perhaps it is the time for us to 'wipe' their kinds here from the land they named "Malingsia", Malingsial" which in reality they are the sials and the malings. They are just the ungrateful dogs which bit the hands of those who are trying to help them. Perhpas, it is time for us to stop caring since they are not even care about hurting us. Perhaps, it is time to stop every kindness and assistence when they in dire need of it, just to make them realise how much they have hurt us in many ways. Who need bad neighbours anyway?

Now it is Batik

Distasteful!

Now out of the blue, UNESCO decides to anointed "Batik" as one of the world's heritage and then again it is no ordinary batik but those ugly dull old fashion batik from one ASEAN nation, the one who has been flooding other neighbouring countries with their unruly and ungrateful minions.

Now what? This move is liken of robbing others from their own heritage, if UNESCO wants to proceed with such dumb move then so be it but please provide such specifications in CLEAR and UNAMBIGUOUS letters describing in minute details of what they mean by "Batik" and just 'sweeping' every kind of batik and its process under such word. If not those fools will bark again saying that they have been robbed of their heritage! By fools I refer to those pointed bamboos fools.

Batik is not the sole property and heritage of one nation since we have all kinds of prints and patterns not limited to those dull looking old fashion kind of pattern worn by those in that particular nation. If you are thinking of monopolising batik then you are really thoise greedy bunch of good for nothing scums. Compared to other patterns, your kind of pattern is perhaps only suitable for blind and tasteless people.

The Tourism Ministry is now aggressively looking into 'nationalising' all delicacies and other forms of art in response to those brain damaged scums, though sounds childish but it is appropriate considering the onslaught of our dignity and image. Now, nasi lemak will be ours and ours only like what the Pulau Pinang has done to "Penang" by making it a trademark of the Pulau Pinang state government.

Malaysians who are studying in that foreign country should consider returning back or pursue their dreams elsewhere since they no longer welcome there though sadly they share the same faith and to certain extent culture. It is not worth losing one's life over petty matter like the Pendet dance, which by the way is not even entertaining as much as permissible in Islam for it bares for all to see!

Ungrateful Scums

SO YOU THINK YOU ARE BETTER, EH?

Once upon a time in a far, far away land people vent their anger on their neighbours accusing them of stealing their ethnic dance. Later, it is discovered that it never happen since the identity theft is actually committed by others, a private organisation which foolishly and irresponsibly portrays such dance to belong to the neighbours. Interestingly, the private company is stationed in another neighbouring state.

Many views such as a political ploy by interested parties to gain popularity with a view of wresting power or at least clinging to it. Such view may be far fetched but its significance can't simply brushed aside. The tourism advertisement is produced in a neighbouring country which since its separation from its neighbour, has had a bittersweet relationship ranging from trade to politics. At the same time the neighbouring state which claim the theft might also have other hidden agenda since many of their citizens are living freely and perhaps too free in the neighbouring state.

Their citizens are notoriously known for their high and deep involvement in crimes causing their hosts great suffering. Just like parasite, that is they really are.Because of some of their citizens are ill treated they quickly declare a crusade against the host who after all these while have been very generous. They seem to forget or deliberately choose to turn a blind side towards the crimes committed by their own at their host expense and sufferings. A few of those belligerent fools go to the street carrying sharpened bamboo harassing motorists trying to identify and pick out citizens of the neighbouring state. This happens during the holy month of Ramadhan and believe it or not those vigilantes are Muslims themselves!

Nevertheless, to totally blame them is itself unfair since they have genuine issues against their neighbours. Well, not the ethnic dance of course. Meanwhile, such incident might also be sponsored by quarters from the neighbouring nation - power, that might be their intention since the last election has seen the ruling government is besieged from all directions as scandal after scandal begins to unravel itself. Hence, they need diversions to sidetrack the public from the real issue - severe corruption, mismanagement and power abuse. The neighbouring nation also known as Bolehland, for the very first time seen their number one leader being accused of various misconducts.

Being a citizen in Bolehland as the name indicates therefore, such farfetched imagination may not be farfetched after all. Remember, this is the land where everything is possible as long as you are in or the government itself!

Dangers of Logic

Come to think of it, the danger pose by SIS is far greater than what Jemaah Islamiyyah threat since it goes to the core of Islamic teachings. Being educated in non religious matters but trying hard to intrude and imposed their wayward ideas of Islam really makes me shudder, not of excitement but more to fear. While others are trying very hard to 'preserve' pure Islamic thinking and teachings, in line with Quran and hadith, they sadly have their own sick and conspiratory agenda.

Listening to one of their representatives in a talk show on the ruckus caused by JAIP's decision to cane a woman found guilty of drinking liquor in the public. Ironically, the woman in question is more than willing to be punished by caning and she adamantly refuses to appeal but others spearheaded by those wayward SIS, are creating all the unnecessary fuss about such. Their premise is simple, since we are in the modern times therefore it is incumbent upon us to look into Islamic teachings to suit the predominant situation. Necessary my foot!

For a long time and in fact since their establishment, they only manage to create confusion and dissension among Muslims but as one of the speakers said during that very interesting forum, they could be excused for their ignorance. Ignorance in the sense that their judgement and perception are blurred and thus impaired severely by their obsession on logic and modernity.

Indeed, as TG Nik Abdul Aziz said the non Muslims are far better off than those in SIS and the like since the former are not familiar with the true Islamic teachings unlike the latter who claimed to be proficient in Islamic teachings. In fact, the threat pose by those like them has been clearly stated by the Prophet PBUH when he said one of the signs of the End of Days is when people who are not expert are being appointed to look after religious matters just like SIS is doing today though they claim to possess the knowledge.

I am not an expert but I know my limit and thus I am grateful that I firmly believe in both Quran and Sunnah unlike some who prefer their logic only because they claim that both Quran and Sunnah are silent on certain matters. Canning, to them is inhumane and against human rights since it is not provided in the Quran but they seem to have ignored the Sunnah including Hadith of the Prophet as well as earlier opinions who are close to the Prophet himself compared to us and to those wayward thinkers.

Will We Forgive Him?

Will we be able to forgive him?

Tun Abdul Hamid Omar, Tun Salleh Abas' successor as the Lord President died due to stroke this morning. He gains prominence back in 1988 when he accedes to the pressure of the Executive to sack Tun Salleh through a tribunal which many legal experts doubt, at least in terms of its legality since he still at that time a junior to Tun Salleh. This are facts, part of the nation;s history.

He goes down in history as a controversial figure who is hugely responsible to the deterioration of the once respected Judiciary for its independence and track records. From his suspension until his actual sacking, Tun Salleh Abas vehemently uphold his innocence and righteousness. Tun Salleh, despite his unjust dismissal gains prominence for his courage and as the last of independent LP and later CJ. Since then, the judiciary has decline at a very fast rate making it a joke of the nation until the Lingam Gate emerges few years ago. By then, the public perception is vindicated by the Royal Co mission which some worrying irregularities in the conducts of a few top judges and a very senior lawyer.

The late Tun Abdul Hamid will be forever remembered for his vital contribution towards opening the gate for the Executive blatant interference in Judiciary though the government strongly opposed to such claim which they repeatedly say as malicious accusation and allegations. May his soul rest in peace but how about those he has deliberately hurt? Only Allah knows best...

JUDICIARY SHOULD ALWAYS BE FREE AND INDEPENDENT

Runtuhkan Retorik dan Kemunafikan!

Runtuhkan tembok perkauman!

Apakah hanya kerana beragama Islam, mereka dikatakan Melayu?

A Passing

1941 - 2009

Senator Prof Datuk Dr Ismail Md Salleh, the first handicapped figure to be appointed to the Senate passed away at the Singapore General Hospital today. He who was 61, was on his way to China. May Allah bless his soul accorded to him a place among those blessed ones.

I have always been impressed by him, a figure in his own class surpassing even those who are physically better. He is believed to be the first handicapped person to be warded with a Doctorate, a feat I am trying to achieve, Insya Allah.

FAMILIAR FACES

Look familiar?

One the right is Osman Jailu and on the left is Radzhi Salleh
Similarities:

  1. Both were PKR representatives before suddenly realising their true calling
  2. Look at their faces, aren't there something?
  3. Both are Muslim Malays but those in DAP are better off (except for Hee Yit Fong)
  4. PKR needs to look into their candidate selection procedures
  5. May 'something' befall on these scums!

Thank You!

We can't really trust politicians, can we?

Yet another Champion of the People declares his true allegiance by stabbing and turning against the People just because he no longer relates to his superiors. He seems to forget that it is actually the People who vote for him and not his superiors. It is the People who put their trust in him so that they will have proper representation and hence their welfare and well-being are taken care of. Nonetheless, now that he has shifted his allegiance to the ruling coalition, hopefully the People and his constituency will get the benefits they deserve more than anything else.

ISLAM PALSU DARI PALESTIN?

Another huge win for PAS@PR...Insya Allah

heir leaders and supporters oftentimes call for transparent and just media reporting and by just and media reporting they only mean reporting nice things about them though that is not entirely the case. It also covers misreporting if the matters involve the Opposition and other dissenting views. As long as the reports are in their favour then everything is bright if not shiny. On the other hand, if the matters and sources come from the other side of the road than different sets of rules apply, everything from them should and need to be overly scrutinised and finally set aside as libelous and lies.

Their reporters have the usual and excellent skill to turn everything up side down, to turn back to white and all other unimaginable facts manipulations. Their news whoring skills are second to none, the best of the best. Sadly, their poor and bias penship are acknowledged as the truth by none other than our so called leaders. When Tuan Guru Nik Aziz purportedly said that their Islam is fake and comes from the Palestine whereas the real truth is TGNA has indeed say that their Islam is fake but he never once uttered the phrase coming from the Palestine, the land of the Anbiya! He said that their Islamic faith is liken to a flower made from plastics not Palestine!

Praise be to HIM!

The question is not will he win but will he able to reduce the majority?

It is indeed bewildering when the Opposition in Pulau Pinang decided to put forward a disbarred lawyer as their 'most eligible' candidate in the Permatang Pasir by election on August 25. Although they vehemently claim that he is innocent of the breach hurled at him but both the Bar Council and the High Court have both tacitly and openly declared his guilt - by revoking his license to practice!

It is easy to understand the aftermath of such conviction though he with the help of his party has settled the amount he has misappropriated but the damage and wrong have already been done. A trust has been broken between him and his client. Now, his former partner, who is by the way is not charged with anything has claimed to be made the scape got for the debacle.

May it is fate that while the ruling coalition is trying very hard to portray itself as clean, good and responsible entity but still they fail miserably in their quest to cleanse themselves. It is mind boggling when they decided to pick someone like him to be the candidate in a by election so important as the Permatang Pasir after series of humiliating defeats. It is an insult to other party members whom I believe to be many who possess better image compared to the candidate. Out of thousands of their members in Permatang Pasir, the party has decided to field someone who is morally tainted only because he is considered ' people friendly', which by the way is a misnomer since he has been convicted of a breach of trust against others whom he is supposed to look after morally, ethically and professionally.

Praise be to God that He has indeed exposed the truth , the real face of the party through such humiliating fumble and let it be a lesson to all particularly the voters in Permatang Pasir to choose the right person to be their representative, not a person who later will embezzle not only their trust but also the allocations meant for them. Send the other candidate to the State Assembly with a resounding victory never achieved before! Insya Allah

"People friendly should not be interpreted literally but figuratively as well"

Liar! Liar! Liar!

They try to gain popularity through the sufferings of others

As usual when it comes to others than the ruling coalition which control the government will act and pretend that they are the people's champions. Nobody is better than them and they, since they are in power are free to dictate whatever they deem appropriate. Within the country, they blatantly bend any rules, laws and regulations to serve their purpose- to remain in power. Any dissents will be treated with utmost prejudice and hostility.

Now, they are thinking of censoring the Net, the only source available for free and open dissent in this beloved country of ours. Though, their mouth piece the Ministry of Information Minisr vehemently denies any plan to censor the Net but being them, nothing is impossible. Everything is possible in Bolehland. Today they say they will not do such thing but tomorrow it will be a totally different situation
. They come up with thousand or even millions reasons to control the people as long as the people are deceived into believing that the only truth must come from the ruling coalition than, everything is fine as the clear blue sky.

When Aung San Suu Kyi is detained under house arrest after a sham court process, as the hypocrite they are, they urge to junta to immediately release her but for any right thinking people, such is totally unacceptable since they themselves are just like the military junta which imprisoned Ms. Suu Kyi. They have long cease to be credible and hence whatever come from their filthy mouths should never be taken seriously as they are also cosmetic- mere lip service but in effect do not hold even a scintilla of truth.

They brazenly demand others to uphold democratic principles but at the same time they are also actively indulging in undemocratic practices. They openly condemn the Israelis but behind the scene, they openly hug those criminals. They openly criticise the US but in reality they are no different from the Americans. They will act according to situations which favour their selfish interests. They say that the laws are sufficient and adequate to control terrorism but they oppose any moves to scrap unjust laws which enable the authority to detain someone without trial for as long as they want, just by screaming NATIONAL SECURITY!

They need to wake up and remind themselves that we living in the advanced age no longer the 50's where they can act like the colonialists they openly detest but secretly admire.
