Fears

A wishful wish

Coming Monday, we will know who is the real Perak MB though it may not be favourable to many especially those who view the current Perak government as being illegal since they are there due to 'hidden hands' heavily relying on cheap and dirty political ploy. What happens in Perak today could have been avoided if those with power wisely disperse the authority in their hand simply by returning the power to the Perakians. This is what will happen if those in power is hanging by a thin thread. Now the governing coalition is facing among if not the most challenging time ever.

Everywhere throughout the nation, Opposition elected representatives are offering to resign. It is done to test the credibility and the strength the governing coalition boastfully pronounced. People today are no longer the lame duck or the ignoramus of the old days where main stream media rule the day. People meekly obey what are presented to them without the slightest doubt.
If TDM was to rule today, he may not enjoy the same fete he once proudly covets. He is today is just an old senile man crying over his past glory. If he truly whom he claims he is, his son Mukhriz would have jumped ship when he did so few months back. No offence to his admirers out there but his is today a persona non grata, someone who longer needed but for selected few who enjoy his senile thoughts. To make matter worst, his protege, DSNR is seen to be not his protege but more like his puppet. The proofs are abundantly clear, for once he opts to appoint the loser son of TDM as a MITI deputy minister while the victor is left mending his wounded pride alone in the cold! Even more insulting, the victor's deputy instead is chosen as a cabinet member.

The political impasse in Perak will only end if the Assembly is dissolved and the People become the King Maker once again. The issue of who start the trend is a non issue since it never materialised. What has become a fact today is that BN become the government instead through frogging, an act which has not materialised on the part of the Opposition. They won the government by deceit and if they got the government through the court, still the public trust will remain lost forever as at that time they win through the court and not through the proper channel, through those whom they admit as their Master for they truly are their Master' servants.
In a nut shell, for the very first time the blogger does not feel the excitement whenever a new prime minister takes over. In fact, there is a lull of disappointment and a tinge of sadness. True, the blogger may be a nobody but based on democratic principle, the blogger too is a somebody!
